Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a Test Environment Lead role for a temporary assignment in Plano, TX.

 

This position is a 11-month assignment, with potential to extend. The pay range for this role is between $80.00 - $100.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

What he/she will bring:

Deep understanding of hardware, software, network, and data configurations to design, implement, and maintain the test environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with the environment in a methodical and analytical way.

Effective communication - ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including development, operations, and other teams.

Advanced experience and understanding of AWS

Ability to negotiate and collaborate to resolve issues.

Excellent project management skills. They need to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing and allocating resources.

Attention to detail - pays close attention to detail to ensure that the environment is configured and maintained in a manner that supports effective testing.

Adaptability to changing requirements and technology landscapes, keeping up with the latest developments in test environment management.

 

What you’ll be doing
The Test Environment Lead is responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of test environments to ensure smooth and efficient testing operations. This role involves coordinating with various teams to maintain stable and reliable test environments, implementing best practices for environment management, and continuously improving processes to support high-quality software testing.

 

He/she will be responsible for the following:

Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the test environments align with testing requirements, remain available, and remain stable for use by the testing team.

Accountable for identifying and resolving issues with test environments, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of environments, and managing test data effectively.

Plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of software products by facilitating effective testing activities.

The Test Environment Lead is the primary contact for managing and optimizing test environments, ensuring seamless and efficient testing processes.

Work with Test Data Management and Domain Quality Lead(s) to create a plan and timeline to integrate or update test environments.

Committed to ensuring that the environment is of high quality and supports accurate and reliable testing.

 

Requirements:

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills

10+ years of relevant / progressive work experience (in similar field and/or industry)

Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

In-depth knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, practices, and tools, including test automation frameworks.

Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, and the ability to align quality engineering practices with these approaches.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Deep expertise in product management and software development lifecycle

A broad understanding of software and data testing techniques and best practices

Experience working in IT delivery or business management

Advanced experience and understanding of AWS

 

Added bonus if you have (Preferred):           

Advanced degree

Scrum master certification or PMP

Experience working in a financial and banking industries
