Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a Domain Quality Lead Manager (Quality Engineer (QE) Manager) role for a temporary assignment in Plano, TX.

This position is a 12-month assignment, with potential to extend. The pay range for this role is between $80.00 - $100.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

What we’re looking for
Domain Quality Lead Manager (also known as TFS Quality Engineer (QE) Manager) is responsible for managing the testing requirements for the Factory Quality and Certification through various testing types across domains.  DQL Manager will also look for opportunities to automate testing where possible to increase testing productivity and quality.

What you’ll be doing
QE Manager serves as the primary point of contact for leading and overseeing quality engineering processes, ensuring products and services meet the highest standards of excellence and compliance.

Oversees the Domain Quality Leads and partners closely with Domain Leadership to improve testing productivity and quality

Manage assigned testing resources in the QE Horizontal Team and ensure that they are trained and coached to be successful.

Accountable for creation of the overall testing strategy across domains and oversee the execution to ensure test plans meet the highest quality standards.

Provide regular testing status updates, reports, and raise risk/impediment concerns to senior Leadership.

Ensure appropriate hygiene in Jira, use of enterprise testing tools, and availability of testing data provided by the TDM team.

Cross-functional collaboration across various departments and domains to ensure quality is integrated throughout the PDLC. 

Manage & develop a team of DQL professionals and play key role in hiring process. 

Requirements:

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills

Ability to influence, drive change and collaborate with senior stakeholders in a complex matrixed organization

Ability to build, drive and support automation test strategy. Dedication to delivering great software and releasing it quickly, efficiently, and with growing quality.

Excellent knowledge of QE automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools.

10+ years of relevant / progressive work experience (in similar field and/or industry)

Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

In-depth knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, practices, and tools, including test automation frameworks.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Deep expertise in product management and software development lifecycle

A broad understanding of software and data testing techniques and best practices 

Hands on experience in QE automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end applications, such as Cucumber, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, SOAPUI etc.

Experience creating multiple test frameworks from scratch. Experience in Java or Python, familiar with databases, SQL, and scripting languages.

Understanding of REST and RESTful services

Expertise with continuous deployment systems using Maven, GIT, Spinnaker, and Jenkins; define branching, tagging, and code merging strategies

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, and GCP

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot and resolve database related issues

Proficiency in SQL performance tuning in MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake

Experience in NoSQL databases is preferred

Experience with cloud database services such as Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS is a plus

Four-Year College Degree (BA or BS)

Experience working in a financial and banking industries

Scrum master certification or PMP
