Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Procurement Analyst (Buyer) for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas.
This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $30.00- $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

What We’re Looking For:
- The buyer/contingent will be responsible for the creation and execution of procurement strategies across various purchasing categories and commodities. These responsibilities include developing and implementing multi-year spend strategies, planning and managing sourcing (RFx) events, supporting the development, negotiation, and execution of contractual documents (MSAs, SOWs, amendments), and building strong relationships with business units, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- The buyer will manage procurement activities related to requests involving Tier I and Tier II suppliers (suppliers offering financial or “regulatory” services to TFS). To this end, the buyer must have a strong understanding of financial and regulatory compliance standards and practices. Financial services or banking experience is beneficial.
- The individual performing this role must be capable of influencing across all levels of management, business, and supplier teams, leveraging experience, negotiation skills, and integrating external benchmarking and KPI/metric data to affect delivery outcomes from suppliers that meet and exceed expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategic Sourcing:
- Develop and negotiate contractual agreements supporting strategic and/or tactical sourcing plans, including but not limited to master supplier agreements/addendums, statements of work, amendments, product schedules, renewals, extensions, and non-disclosure agreements
- Develop a strategic sourcing framework by creating strategies across products, services, and commodities, including development and implementation of strategies for responsible commodities
- Execute sourcing plans that support business unit objectives and maximize profitability through lower costs, rebates, volume discounts, or revenue generation opportunities, while supporting innovation, improved service levels, and stronger supplier relationships
- Support professional services commodities
- Facilitate regular planning meetings with business units and develop short-term and long-term procurement strategies
- Lead and facilitate sourcing initiatives (RFx) in collaboration with TFS management, business units, stakeholders, suppliers, and/or TFS affiliates, ensuring a competitive sourcing environment
- Oversee and execute strategic sourcing functions, contracts, and RFx sourcing events
- Participate in and facilitate contract negotiations to ensure alignment with sourcing processes and overall TFS procurement strategy
- Provide consultation and support for expiring, expired, and terminated engagements, ensuring renewals and amendments are proactively planned and budgeted
- Support purchase requests for Tier I and Tier II TFS commodities and perform ongoing supplier market analysis
- Work with customers to provide strategic direction in building business requirements
- Collaborate with IPSS contract and PO teams to ensure requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Compliance:
- Demonstrate expertise and ensure compliance with all procurement concepts, policies, and procedures
- Assist in identifying requirements and interpreting and documenting those requirements so that internal customers and suppliers clearly understand contractual obligations and expectations
Customer Support:
- Educate and train customers and team members on sourcing and contracting processes, best practices, and negotiation strategies to maximize cost effectiveness
- Ensure frequent communication between customers, suppliers, project teams, and other relevant stakeholders
- Continually review and monitor current processes to identify potential Kaizen opportunities
- Provide proactive communication with internal and external customers regarding work status and escalate tasks or issues as appropriate
Qualifications / What You Bring (Must Haves):
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related supply chain management discipline, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in contract development, sourcing, negotiations, data analytics, and contract management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership experience and skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally across different groups and management levels
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to offer business-oriented solutions to complex compliance issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with a low margin of error
- Experience organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks with flexibility and efficiency
- Experience leading or participating as a key contributor on projects
- Experience supporting professional services commodities
- Ability to work with customers to provide strategic direction in building business requirements
