Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a SE Engineer role for a temporary, onsite assignment in Georgetown, KY.

This position is a 36-month assignment, with potential to extend. The pay range for this role is between $35.74 - $48.15/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Description:

Responsibility: 

This person will be creating offline robot programs for download in a robotic production process.

Coordinate with Regional Paint Engineer study, conduct the trial, evaluate based on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for sealer, UBC, and dampening coat robot processes.

Or

Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for primer, base, clear and interior robot processes.

This includes leading all meetings with related groups, document creation, and supporting the plants in the process.   

Position will include about 10% travel to US, Mexico and Canada - please make sure that the candidates are aware of this. 

Position will report to the Digital Engineering Manager.

Must be able to work with minimal direction and previous experience is required. 

Requirements:

Require: Programing paint robots offline programming software or equivalent.

• 3+ years of experience with industrial automated robotic offline programming (paint shop applications preferred)
• Bachelor's, Associate's, or Technical degree

Technical School Degree or Equivalent Experience

• Experience with Digital Engineering
• Additional related certifications
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
• Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
