Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring an Analyst for a temporary assignment in Saline, Michigan.
This is a 12 month contract. The pay range for this role is between $64 - $69/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
What We’re Looking For
- Toyota’s Business Unit Finance Department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Corporate Partner (Analyst level position).
- The primary responsibility of this role is to support Research & Development (R&D) management in achieving financial and operational goals by leading Accounting & Finance activities within the R&D division.
- Reporting to the Manager, R&D Business Unit Finance, this individual will help develop, implement, and maintain financial plans and policies for the organization. Responsibilities include establishing fiscal controls, preparing financial reports, partnering with R&D project owners, advising on financial matters, and supporting long-range planning initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive financial management reporting and analysis for assigned functional groups, sub-groups, and/or profit elements
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses comparing actual results to projections
- Partner with operational teams to align financial projections with operational objectives and business drivers
- Perform cost-benefit analyses to support business cases, prioritization, and decision-making
- Develop data-driven analyses to identify risks and opportunities and model alternative action plans
- Support management of financial and cost data structures within corporate systems
- Execute assigned elements of the internal control program within functional areas
- Apply corporate accounting policies and collaborate with accounting, tax, and consolidation teams to ensure compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications / What You Bring (Must Haves)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another analytical field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related finance roles with progressive responsibility
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Experience supporting projects involving budget/financial reporting and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated aptitude and desire to learn and apply emerging technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA
- Experience with data analysis, financial modeling, management reporting, and cost-benefit analysis
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders
