Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We are currently looking to onboard a Product Owner (Consultant) to support the continued delivery and scale of the SmartPath/Monogram F&I Platform and broader TFS Digital Retail Applications.

Our team operates in a SaaS-like model supporting both dealership clients and enterprise solutions, including enterprise partners such as SETF and Mazda. We deliver dealership-facing operational systems that function similarly to ERP platforms, alongside consumer-facing digital purchase experiences that improve efficiency across both in-dealership and remote vehicle purchase journeys within Sales and F&I workflows.

This Product Owner will sit within our Domain Product Team and help drive delivery of business capabilities across both consumer-facing digital retail experiences and dealer-facing operational systems.

Our platform operates at the intersection of:

  • eCommerce-style customer purchase journeys
  • ERP-like dealership operational workflows
  • Financial product structuring for automotive vehicle purchases
  • Compliance-governed product development

Because this platform supports regulated automotive finance transactions, Product Owners must be comfortable working in compliance-governed environments where system behavior is shaped by applicable financial, consumer protection, and digital contracting requirements.

Core Expectations

  • Agile-savvy and familiar with Scrum delivery practices
  • Experienced working on consumer-facing applications (eCommerce, fintech, marketplace, etc.)
  • Comfortable operating across integrated platforms and system dependencies
  • Able to translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Capable of partnering with UX/UI and Engineering to drive clarity on product intent and delivery expectations
  • Able to support delivery across both customer experience and dealer operational systems
  • While platform or domain knowledge can be learned, Product Ownership fundamentals are expected. Candidates should already be comfortable with delivery planning, story decomposition, acceptance criteria definition, and supporting cross-functional delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with Product Leadership to support delivery of SmartPath/Monogram F&I capabilities
  • Decompose initiatives into sprint-ready user stories and epics
  • Define and manage acceptance criteria for functional delivery
  • Coordinate with UX/UI to ensure alignment of experience and functionality
  • Partner with Engineering on refinement, estimation, and delivery planning
  • Support intake and clarification of cross-department business requirements
  • Support release planning and feature readiness across integrated systems
  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and delivery ceremonies
  • We are a highly collaborative team working across Design, Engineering, Credit, Compliance, Dealer Operations, and TMNA stakeholders.

Qualifications / What You Bring (Must Haves)

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership
  • Proven experience working within Agile frameworks
  • Hands-on expertise in writing clear, actionable user stories and continuously refining and prioritizing the product backlog in response to evolving business needs
  • Proficiency in Figma, Visio, and Lucidchart for process and workflow design
  • Practical experience with Jira and Confluence for product ownership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to ask good questions and close gaps quickly
  • Ability to operate well in structured Agile delivery environments
  • Ability to communicate clearly across technical and business audiences
  • Openness to feedback and iterative delivery
  • Ability to work well within cross-functional product teams
