This is a contract position that is currently set to go until the end of June 2026. The pay range for this role is between $74/hr - $80/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

The primary responsibility of this role is to be the subject matter expert within the CPO Financial Reporting Development team, responsible for collaborating with and acting as a liaison to multiple and diverse business groups and technologies
This person will participate in multiple technology and/or business releases and work closely with business units and IT partners to create, identify, and evaluate deliverables such as user stories, business process models, user manuals, test plans, and test results
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting Tech Lead, this role will support the department’s objectives around design, development, and innovation of Financial Reporting and Analytics solutions
Leveraging the organization’s financial data, this role supports timely and accurate financial reporting
This role partners closely with external suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders across US locations and multiple Toyota entities and departments
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Create, evaluate, and present technical business cases, “as-is” and “to-be” business processes, and current and future technology integration design recommendations to colleagues, management, business customers, and vendors
Assist in the development and enhancement of Oracle HEPM HFM applications and tools to support financial and operational reporting
Build a solid understanding of TFS data and technologies, including hands-on management of metadata, creation of accounts, entities, and dimensions, design of new reporting, and use of SmartView for ad-hoc analysis
Maintain and develop HFR reports and custom rules files
Provide support to the user community through troubleshooting, report development, and training
Work with TFS business partners to identify and document financial data requirements and reporting metrics
Work with internal support teams to transition enhancements into the production environment while ensuring adherence to change management policies and procedures
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Partner with accounting stakeholders to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual system enhancements and fixes
Contribute to internal and external audit requests for SOX and ITGC compliance, as well as quarterly and annual financial audits
Develop new and maintain existing SOX and ITGC controls for consolidation and reporting systems
Facilitate business process design and redesign sessions and create documentation for new methodologies
Evaluate, recommend, and implement process improvements related to the use of Microsoft Excel in Finance to enhance internal controls and efficiency
Develop integration patterns for multiple OAuth 2.0 grant types, including Authorization Code (with PKCE) and Client Credentials (API-to-API)
Integrate access token validation, scopes, and claims-based access controls into reusable frameworks or gateway components
Design and implement RBAC, ABAC, and entitlement models to enforce granular access controls
Deliver SDKs, documentation, sample projects, and internal training to accelerate adoption across engineering teams
Continuously improve frameworks and processes to accelerate delivery and maintain high quality across diverse teams
Mentor and guide engineers on best practices in API development, standards, automation, and production deployment
Partner with leadership to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent
Stay current on technology trends through experimentation, learning, and participation in internal and external technology communities
Understand, contribute to, and implement enterprise architecture standards

Bachelor’s degree (or higher), or equivalent professional work experience
Hands-on technical and analytical experience relevant to this role (e.g., Oracle HFM)
Knowledge of and experience with HFM, FDMEE, DRM, and batch scripting
Intermediate SQL skills
Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as HFR, SmartView, and Data Visualizer
Agile methodology experience
MBA or Master of Science degree in a relevant discipline
Familiarity with intercompany eliminations and SAP code blocks
Working knowledge of deployment and configuration of connector server clients to enable SSO and MFA across multiple Active Directory domains
