Title: Production Engineer
Location: Liberty, NC (TBMNC)
Project duration: 24 months
Travel: 25% International travel to Japan and other vendors. To check equipment, no hands on work. Travel would be after 6 months from starting the assignment.
Onsite: A Must

- Top 3-4 must have skill sets? Project management, Manufacturing Equipment how it works knowledge, Reading /modifying drawings and Good in Electrical Controls.
Job Description:
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting machine specifications, procurement, validation, installation, pre-productions trials and launch of battery production lines
- Supporting battery manufacturing trials to confirm equipment safety, quality, operation availability, and overall efficiency
- Directly supporting other engineers with the construction and installation of battery equipment
- Participate in cross functional working groups across the local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new processes as required
- Organize and guide cross functional activities across traditional company barriers with minimal assistance from management.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field or 10+ years of equivalent
- Experience in production preparation of manufacturing and experience in execution of capital projects, preferably from initial planning to start of production
- Experience in creating and implementing processes in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in detail schedule creation and utilization on capital projects for new or modified equipment
- AutoCad experience, including the ability to read, interpret and modify 2D drawings (Y/N)
- Ability to work weekend and shutdown work (such as July and December holidays) as needed
- Ability to work weekend and non-production weeks (such as July and December holidays) as needed
