Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring an Portfolio Program Manager for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas.

This is a 12 month contract. The pay range for this role is between $55.00 - $74.07/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

What we’re looking for:

  • We are looking for a collaborative and analytically strong Portfolio Program Manager to help drive visibility, alignment, and informed decision-making across some of our most important strategic initiatives.
  • In this role, you will partner with leaders across the department to track initiative progress, provide clear and accurate views of quarterly spend, and respond to portfolio-related requests that support planning and execution.

What you’ll be doing:
Strategic Initiative Tracking:

  • Track and communicate monthly status across multiple strategic initiatives, including progress, risks, blockers, next steps, and quantified benefits realized or expected.
  • Partner with initiative leads to create executive-ready status reports, dashboards, and scorecards that clearly show initiative health, milestone progress, financial performance, and business impact.

Quarterly Spend Management:

  • Own and continuously improve a process and template that provide a comprehensive view of team, product, and platform costs, maintained monthly and refreshed quarterly in partnership with business leads.
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries and support review discussions, as needed.
  • Identify unused funds and recommend opportunities to reinvest them where they can create the most value.
  • Partner with A&F to understand and explain major variances from traditional financial reporting.

Ad Hoc Portfolio Requests:

  • Support portfolio-related requests from cross-functional partners, including Enterprise Technology Solution Architecture, Strategy, the Vendor Management Office, and Human Resources.
  • Document and streamline processes for pulling together data from multiple reports and systems to support analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Improve efficiency and scalability through queries, automation, and dashboards. 

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a project management office, program management, portfolio operations, or strategy within a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong MS Office suite experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query, PivotTables, and Power Pivot), with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence across teams, and drive accountability in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, spend tracking, variance management, and executive reporting.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Added bonus if you have (Preferred):

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership in a chief of staff–type capacity and creating reporting cadences such as executive updates, dashboards, and initiative scorecards.
  • SQL skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
  • Power BI and Jira.
